What is a vacuum separation furnace and what does it do?
It separates zinc from copper-zinc material under vacuum. Zinc boils at 907 °C while copper boils at 2562 °C; under vacuum the difference is wide enough that the zinc leaves the melt as vapour and is condensed back into metal, while the copper stays in the crucible and is tapped out. Gold and silver carried in the material are recovered with the copper.
Which materials can it process?
Brass scrap and turnings, copper-zinc mixed material, copper-zinc dross, galvanizing residues and other zinc-bearing copper scrap. Send us the material description and the zinc content and we will confirm suitability before you commit.
What are the technical parameters?
Cycle time depends on the feed material: aluminium-zinc takes roughly 3 hours per batch, while copper-zinc runs roughly 3 batches per 24 hours. A standard build uses roughly 700–900 kWh per tonne and draws 300–500 kW from a 500 kVA transformer. Because these are custom machines, final ratings are agreed in the technical specification for your order.
How long is the lead time?
35 working days for a standard vacuum separation furnace, counted from order confirmation and receipt of the advance payment. Made-to-order configurations are quoted individually.
What is the minimum order quantity?
One set. These are custom-built industrial machines, so we do not hold finished stock — every unit is built for the buyer.
Do you offer a free trial run?
No — a trial run is RMB 8,000 per run. The fee covers the material, the furnace time and a written test report on your own feed, so you leave with measured figures instead of estimates.
What do you need from me to quote?
The material you will process, its zinc content, your required monthly or daily tonnage, your country and your available power supply. With those five answers we can propose a model and a price instead of a range.
How is the equipment installed and commissioned?
Site preparation, foundations, power supply and utilities are arranged by the buyer according to the drawings and technical documents we provide. If you want a technician on site, our engineers can travel to your plant to supervise installation and commissioning and to train your operators — this is a chargeable service, with labour and travel billed separately.
What about after-sales service?
Service work orders are tracked visually from start to finish, customer satisfaction feedback is collected within 24 hours of a service visit, and every quality issue is logged in a traceability database.
What payment terms, warranty and Incoterms do you offer?
These are stated in the proforma invoice and contract for each order, because they depend on the configuration and the destination. We quote the Incoterms basis (for example FOB or CIF), the payment schedule and the warranty period together with the price — ask for them with your quotation, and we will send a sample proforma invoice on request.
Which countries do you ship to?
Our equipment has been exported to South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Russia and Kazakhstan. Our export licence is not limited by region, so we can ship to your country too — tell us your destination port and we will quote the nearest route.
What certifications do you hold?
An ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certificate (registration no. ISC-Q-2025-5947-R, valid until 6 May 2028). Certificate scope covers the manufacture and sale of electromagnetic induction heating equipment. Utility model patents on our equipment are held within the group by Qingdao Shuimu Induction Equipment Co., Ltd. Copies of the certificates are available on request.
Tell us what you are melting.
Send us your material, the zinc content and your monthly tonnage — we will come back with the right model and a transparent quotation.
